Donald Trump found himself at the center of a breaking Fox News alert after raising fresh questions about his health during a White House press conference.
While speaking with reporters in the Oval Office, several journalists noticed that his voice sounded unusually strained. One reporter addressed it directly, saying that any change in the president’s health is newsworthy and asking whether he was feeling well.
Trump quickly brushed off the concern. He claimed his hoarse voice was simply the result of yelling at officials over what he described as a trade-related issue with another country. According to Trump, “I blew my stack at these people,” insisting he felt “great.”
The lighthearted exchange continued when the reporter joked that it sounded like there was “a follow-up” to the story. Trump misheard him and quipped, “I thought you said there was a polyp! I don’t want to hear that!”prompting laughter in the room.
This moment comes after Trump recently acknowledged that he underwent an MRI earlier in the year, despite saying he had “no idea” why it was necessary. He told reporters it was part of a routine physical exam and insisted the results were “outstanding,” adding that his doctor told him it was one of the best scans he’d ever seen.
The renewed focus on Trump’s health follows other moments that stirred questions, including a widely discussed whisper he allegedly made to Vladimir Putin before a high-stakes meeting—an exchange some analysts interpreted as concerning given rising global tensions.
