Putin puppet makes chilling 'nuclear weapons' suggestion in rage over Trump sanctions

Kremlin ally and Russian state TV host Vladimir Solovyov has once again stirred global attention after calling for the “unannounced use of tactical nuclear weapons” in response to the latest U.S. sanctions imposed by President Donald Trump.

A video shared by the Russian Media Monitor, a watchdog organization that tracks Kremlin media narratives, shows Solovyov making these alarming remarks on his radio show Full Contact. He stated that Moscow should move beyond “planned exercises” and begin “carrying out strikes on a number of targets determined by the military to radically change the course of the war.”

Solovyov went further, urging Russia to recall its ambassadors from both the United States and Great Britain, criticizing Trump for canceling a scheduled meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

“Why is Trump the one to decide this?” Solovyov questioned, adding, “The bromance is over.”

He accused Trump of showing disrespect toward Putin and hinted that Russia should use weapons of “greater power and ruthlessness.”

These fiery remarks came shortly after Trump’s administration introduced the first Ukraine-related sanctions of his second term, targeting Russian oil giants such as Lukoil and Rosneft. While the sanctions are designed to weaken Russia’s revenues, Putin dismissed their impact, insisting that they would not significantly harm the Russian economy.

Solovyov also mentioned that Venezuela, under President Nicolás Maduro, could be armed to “take the fight to the U.S.” a statement that further escalates his confrontational rhetoric. He then referred to Americans using the derogatory Russian slang “pindos,” a term often used to insult the U.S.

Although Solovyov’s statements do not officially represent Kremlin foreign policy, he is widely regarded as a key voice in Russian propaganda, shaping public opinion especially among older and pro-government audiences. Many Russians on social media platforms like Reddit have dismissed him as a “performer,” saying his extreme comments are meant more for attention than serious policy discussion.

Nonetheless, his words reflect the increasingly aggressive tone in Russian state media following Trump’s new sanctions, highlighting how propaganda and political posturing continue to fuel global tensions.
