GB News presenter and IMI Chief International Anchor Hadley Gamble praised former U.S. President Donald Trump for what she described as a “major diplomatic breakthrough” claiming that he is the only person who could have convinced Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to come to the negotiating table.
In a recent discussion on GB News, Gamble said:
“Donald Trump is the only man on earth who could have brought Benjamin Netanyahu to the table. Over the past several months, he’s had to take a firmer stance on Israel even going against members of his own party who insisted, ‘You can’t stop them until Gaza is flattened.’ That’s something the President has had to push back on from within his own ranks.”
According to Gamble, cooperation from Arab leaders in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the UAE also played a crucial role in making the agreement possible. The panel described the diplomatic progress as something that “simply couldn’t have happened without the President.”
She went on to say that Trump’s efforts have been overlooked by international institutions:
“Donald Trump did something no other U.S. president could have done. And yet, he didn’t get the Nobel Peace Prize because it’s become politicized. Remember, Barack Obama received one before even taking office. It’s hard to take that seriously.”
Panel members also dismissed criticism that Trump is “all talk,” arguing that the former president’s daily actions dominate global headlines.
“You can’t accuse Trump of being all talk and no action,” Gamble added. “He’s making moves every single day unlike his predecessor.”
The discussion came as Trump reportedly chose former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair to lead an interim government in Gaza a move that Nigel Farage admitted wouldn’t have been his personal choice, but said he understood Trump’s reasoning.
Farage, who leads the Reform Party, said:
“As long as it’s not Keir Starmer heading a transitional Gaza authority, I’m happy. What the U.S. has achieved with this Gaza ceasefire deal is absolutely heroic a major diplomatic success worth celebrating.”
