A recent video of former U.S. President Donald Trump during his visit to Japan has gone viral online, raising fresh questions about his health and behavior during official appearances.
In the clip, which circulated widely on social media and major U.S. news networks, Trump is seen appearing “disoriented” while being guided around a ballroom by Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. At one point, he seems unsure of where to go until Takaichi steps in to gently direct him.
The moment quickly caught the attention of viewers and political commentators. One social media user remarked, “He has no idea what’s going on. This is unbelievable.”
Democratic activist Harry Sisson also shared the video, writing, “Watch Donald Trump being guided through the ballroom by Japan’s Prime Minister. He looks completely lost. Maybe this explains that recent MRI he mentioned.”
Others pointed out a perceived double standard in media coverage, noting that if similar footage involved President Biden, conservative outlets would likely speculate about cognitive decline or health issues.
The viral clip comes just days after Trump’s own comments about undergoing a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center earlier this year. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump described the results as “perfect,” adding that his doctors gave him “some of the best reports they’ve ever seen.”
He continued, “I think they gave you very conclusive reports nobody has ever given you results like these. And if I didn’t think it was good, I’d tell you. But the doctors said they were some of the best reports for my age they’ve ever seen.”
The combination of Trump’s remarks and the viral video has reignited public discussion about the former president’s physical and mental fitness an issue likely to remain in focus as he continues to make public appearances ahead of the 2025 political season.
