CNN halted for urgent breaking news as Donald Trump issues furious Hamas warning

U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Hamas, saying the group will face “complete obliteration” if it refuses to give up control of Gaza.

According to CNN’s Jake Tapper, who exchanged text messages with Trump following their interview on Saturday, the Republican leader was clear about his stance. Tapper had asked Trump about Senator Lindsey Graham’s interpretation that Hamas’ latest response signaled rejection of the peace terms. Trump replied, “We will find out. Only time will tell!!!” He added that he expects to know “soon” whether Hamas is truly serious about peace and confirmed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu supports ending the bombing campaign in Gaza. “Yes on Bibi. Soon on rest!” Trump wrote.

Trump recently unveiled a 20-point Gaza ceasefire and peace plan alongside Netanyahu, aiming to secure the release of Israeli hostages and end the ongoing conflict. He emphasized that the first phase of this plan “should be completed this week,” urging all sides to “MOVE FAST.”

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said:

“There have been very positive discussions with Hamas and countries from all over the world Arab, Muslim, and everyone else to release the hostages, end the war in Gaza, and, more importantly, achieve lasting peace in the Middle East. The talks are progressing rapidly. The technical teams will meet again Monday in Egypt to finalize details. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE, or massive bloodshed will follow something nobody wants to see.”

Trump’s plan reportedly calls for the immediate release of all Israeli hostages, with Gaza’s future governance handed over to Palestinian technocrats.

In response, Hamas issued a statement saying it has accepted parts of the proposal, including the hostages’ release, but seeks negotiations over remaining terms.

“The movement affirms its readiness to immediately enter negotiations through mediators to discuss the details of this agreement,” the group stated.

If successful, Trump’s peace plan could mark a major diplomatic breakthrough but with both sides holding firm positions, the coming days may determine whether Gaza moves closer to peace or deeper into crisis.

  1. Hamas has used human shields as a means of causing deaths to innocent civilians by enemy fire to score propaganda points. That hasn’t worked out well for them but they keep doing it for the real reason which is that that are filthy cowards and scum! Hamas have kidnapped and hijacked the innocent people of Palestine and are using them as helpless pawns to further their own anti-Semitic agenda.

Israel are equally guilty of exploiting the Palestinians to further their own ongoing land-grabbing exploits. The release of the hostages is far from being their main reason for this war.

    Total hypocrisy on both sides!
