A dramatic mid-air incident was reported involving former U.S. President Donald Trump’s Air Force One flight to London. According to aviation sources, the presidential aircraft came uncomfortably close to Spirit Airlines Flight 1300, an Airbus A321 traveling from Fort Lauderdale to Boston, as both planes approached Long Island.
An air traffic controller monitoring the skies over New York noticed their altitudes and flight paths were converging. He urgently directed the Spirit Airlines crew to adjust their course after repeated calls went unanswered.
In the audio clip circulating on social media, the controller can be heard saying: “Spirit 1300, turn 20 degrees right. Now.” After raising his voice multiple times, the pilots finally responded and complied with the reroute.
At one point, the frustrated controller warned: “Pay attention. Get off the iPad.” He also informed the Spirit crew that traffic was just six to eight miles off their left wing a Boeing 747 in the iconic blue and white livery of Air Force One.
While officials later confirmed the aircraft were separated by safe distances and not in immediate danger, the exchange highlights how quickly miscommunication can escalate in busy U.S. airspace.
Donald Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump ultimately landed in London without incident. They were scheduled to attend a state banquet with the King and Queen later that evening.
Very poorly written.....Trump and his wife are referred to as "former"....Must be written by a demoncrate.
