U.S. President Donald Trump has strongly denied accusations that he sent a controversial birthday note to Jeffrey Epstein, which allegedly contained a sketch of a nude female silhouette.
The claim originated from a 2003 birthday album said to have been compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate. According to reports, the card suggested that Trump and Epstein had “certain things in common” and concluded with the line, “Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret.”
Trump, however, has dismissed the allegations as completely false. In a sharp response, he said: “These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don’t draw pictures.” He is now pursuing legal action against the Wall Street Journal, Rupert Murdoch, and others for defamation, seeking damages of more than £7 billion.
The controversy deepened after Epstein’s estate handed over the birthday album and other documents to the U.S. House Oversight Committee. The material reportedly included non-disclosure agreements, photographs, video recordings, and references to presidents and vice presidents. Lawmakers are also pressing for the release of Epstein’s infamous “little black book,” which allegedly contains the names of numerous high-profile figures, including Trump and Bill Clinton.
While the Wall Street Journal reported that both Trump and Clinton appeared in the book, Clinton’s spokesperson reiterated that his ties with Epstein ended over a decade before the financier’s 2019 arrest.
Trump has repeatedly stated that although he once knew Epstein socially, he cut off ties after a dispute at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, leaving behind a network of unanswered questions and ongoing investigations into his connections with powerful individuals.
