A new documentary is reigniting global interest in one of humanity’s oldest mysteries unidentified flying objects.
In a newly released trailer for The Age of Disclosure (set to premiere on November 21, 2025, with streaming on Prime Video), Secretary of State Marco Rubio claims that UFOs have been observed over restricted U.S. nuclear facilities and that even presidents receive information about these incidents only on a “need-to-know basis.”
Rubio, a longtime intelligence official and close ally of former President Donald Trump, says the reports are deeply concerning.
“There had been sightings of something operating in the airspace over restricted nuclear facilities,” Rubio states in the film. “It wasn’t ours. It keeps me up at night.”
According to the documentary’s producers, led by Emmy-winning director Dan Farah, the film explores what it calls an 80-year global cover-up of non-human intelligence.
UFOs and Nuclear Facilities A Mysterious Connection
Rubio’s remarks echo decades of strange encounters reported near nuclear sites.
One of the most famous is the 1967 Malmstrom Air Force Base incident in Montana, where former U.S. Air Force Captain Robert Salas reported that a glowing disc hovered above the base moments before ten nuclear missiles mysteriously shut down. Salas has since stated that the event was “beyond any known human technology.”
These accounts join a long history of unexplained aerial activity, from World War II “foo fighter” sightings to the infamous 1947 Roswell incident that first sparked public speculation about extraterrestrial life and government secrecy.
Declassified Pentagon Videos Add to the Mystery
The Age of Disclosure also features declassified Pentagon footage from 2004 and 2015, showing Navy pilots reacting in disbelief as they encounter objects moving at seemingly impossible speeds.
In one clip, a pilot can be heard saying, “There’s a whole fleet of them… my gosh, they’re all going against the wind.”
The U.S. Department of Defense has confirmed the authenticity of the videos but maintains that the objects remain “unidentified.”
This follows findings from a 2019 Pentagon task force that documented “unauthorized or unidentified aircraft” in restricted military zones prompting the Navy to streamline how pilots report such encounters.
Former defense official Luis Elizondo, who led the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), told CNN:
“There is very compelling evidence that we may not be alone.”
Why Rubio Says the Issue Can’t Be Ignored
As a former member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Rubio warns that these incidents whether linked to foreign adversaries, experimental drones, or something entirely different represent a serious matter of national security.
“It’s a crucial topic,” he says in the documentary. “We have to understand what’s happening in our skies.”
Final Thoughts
With The Age of Disclosure bringing together military officers, intelligence experts, and firsthand witnesses, the debate over UFOs near America’s most sensitive facilities is once again entering the mainstream.
Whether these phenomena represent advanced human technology or something not of this world, the film promises to fuel a conversation that’s been quietly building for decades.
