Putin ‘sways’ during speech raging at the US after months of health fears rumours

For years, rumors about Vladimir Putin’s health have circulated online often without any concrete proof. Now, a new video clip has reignited those discussions after the Russian leader appeared visibly unsteady during a recent appearance in Moscow.

In the footage, President Putin can be seen swaying slightly as he addressed reporters. The 73-year-old was speaking about the growing tensions between Russia and the United States, specifically warning Washington against supplying Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles.

“This would be an unfriendly act towards Russia,” Putin said, criticizing the move as damaging to “Russian-American relations, which have just begun to recover.” He added that Russia would not “make decisions under pressure,” insisting that his country remained “self-respecting” and sovereign.

Putin also commented on the cancellation of his planned meeting with former U.S. President Donald Trump in Hungary, saying, “It would be a mistake for both sides to approach this lightly and leave the meeting without the expected result.”

The Russian president’s physical movements during the event particularly his swaying and slight unsteadiness have drawn attention on social media, where discussions about his health frequently resurface. Similar speculation followed his August summit with Trump in Alaska, when observers noticed what appeared to be a limp.

However, it’s important to note that no verified evidence supports any claims about Putin’s health. The Kremlin has consistently denied reports suggesting he suffers from any serious illness, and Western intelligence sources have likewise stated there is no concrete proof of health issues.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continues to urge Washington to provide long-range missiles, arguing they could change the dynamics of the ongoing conflict. For now, Donald Trump has declined to approve the request.

Whether or not these new observations about Putin’s appearance hold any real significance remains to be seen but they have certainly reignited global curiosity about the Russian leader’s condition and the future of U.S.–Russia relations.
