Universities across the country are buzzing with students returning for the new semester, but at New York University, one high-profile student has raised questions Barron Trump.
According to several students and campus staff, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump has not been spotted on campus for around seven months. This is surprising because Barron, who stands at 6 feet 7 inches, is usually hard to miss.
When Barron first enrolled at NYU last year, he reportedly maintained a low profile, but whenever he was seen in public, he was accompanied by Secret Service agents, which drew immediate attention. Now, multiple people claim they haven’t seen him at classes, lectures, or around campus at all this school year.
One insider told journalist Rob Shuter: “If Barron were walking around campus, people would know. You can’t overlook someone that tall.” Another source added that some even joke he’s “only enrolled on paper.”
At this point, there has been no official word on whether Barron has taken a leave of absence, unenrolled, or is simply keeping an unusually private schedule. Student records are protected by law, so the university cannot release information on his enrollment status.
Reports about Barron’s freshman year at NYU were mixed. Some said he adjusted well and even had a girlfriend, while others claimed he was rarely in class and kept to himself. His mother, Melania Trump, is said to be especially protective of him as he tries to balance a normal college life with the unique challenges of being a former president’s son.
For now, it remains unclear whether Barron Trump is still actively attending NYU or pursuing another path outside of the public eye.
